First time in Pudong, TEACHING!

The first days at work I have been doing admin stuff like emailing parents and preparing classes. But finally I had my first teaching class. Nice with a slow start but I was still exhausted after this 45 min! Children 4-6 yrs want you to be totally commited with a lot of energi and imaginative as possible. But I made a class with animals as theme and that really help me with this challenge.
I had so much fun and I got good feedback both from parents and Annelie (head of dance) and the children loved most (not all..) of the exercises. In the beginning som were very afraid, cried a little and sat with their relatives or nannies. But one by one came and joined the fun which made me so happy!!
All the kids were chinese and suuuupercute!
It was an oppertunity for me and them to get to now eachother as people and in dance. I ask myself question like;
What worked well?
When were they happy/smiling/totally focused?
What needs to be improved until next time?
And I really like doing this kinds of reflektions!! I am very new in the field of dancing and I want to continue improve my teaching skills.

This photograph, from monday when we were visiting different schools and compounds, is off Pudong (the area where I am mostly going to teach. Nice metro station right?

This was the entrance to the compound Greenhills. They had a dance studio in ther Club house which was surounded by a beautiful, highly security garden, villas and many other facilities that the people that live in these area enjoy themselves with.
For those who know, I do have a week spot when it comes to luxury so if my salary would raise like x10 I would move there haha!

On my way home (which takes about 90min) it was rush hour in shanghai. There is a lot people living in this city and I have picture that proves it...
